Just finished my second program. Best therapy on the island! Great team, wonderful people. Sam, Daniel and Sheldon all were very helpful and their guidance delivered noticeable improvement in a relatively short period. Thanks to everyone who has taken care of me!
At first glance I wasn’t sure if it was for me. I really admire the area of the location and also I like the environment and the staff is real aloha. Shawna has been very helpful, she knows what she’s doing and a friend since I remember the old physical therapy. I really like when the young adults knows what to do, ask questions, take our vitals and shows us the warm up exercises. I see new and old faces. Love the layout. I was paralyzed from the neck down, I had a cervical myelopathy, the bones in my neck had collapsed. After surgery I was able to walk with a cane just well enough to go in to see Dr. Sam at Big Island Physical Therapy, I was wearing a neck brace and taking too many oxycodone. Within 2 weeks I took off the neck brace and stopped taking all pain pills, 2 weeks later I hung up the cane. I'm still seeing Dr. Sam, he's helping me work on my walking, I'm still shaky. BIPT is excellent , clean, friendly staff, choke equipment. I’ve worked with Sheldon mostly.He’s been awesome. Making sure I’m doing enough but not too much. Giving good suggestions for home exercise and little things that help the pain. Mahalo BIPT
My experience has been exceeded with not only the staff, qualified therapists, but also the facility. The care and attention I am receiving has been focused and structured to my specific needs.
